Guys, you should take a look at this album:
I discovered while randomly checking "chiptune" on DA, and found out a guy nammed Maru 303, which did 2 albums including this one, called "Good Sleep Sunday".
It's like a story, which everyone can interprete as their will.
For me, it talks about an Asian person, probably young adult, which after some club activities a sunday, go slowly homeby walk, on the way near a river, waching the sunset.
He come home, and spend some time watching the sky before falling asleep, and dream.
Eventually, he wakes up for go to college.
But you know what ? In 2 or 3 year, it'll bring me even more nostalgia, because it'll bring me back some momentos of my just passed life as an high school student. I often came back home like on the very sunset after school by walk.
It's sad this forum is taking down now, so I'm going to post a song, after all, we may recreate the activity of the past if we all try to.
I want to post this song, named "The Take Down". No, it's pure coincidence, I promise!
So, I may have mentionned it before, but I try to work on a project concerning various forms of Dystopias, and songs like this are good sources of inspiration.
In this song, we can feel the mental state of Dystopian People, probably aroud 20, cuz thougt the voice is young, the lyrics are pretty mature.
According to the lyrics, they may be random outsiders, or Shadow Rats (discret people trying to stay invisible from other strong, hostiles groups), but a thing is sure, the woman here's going to do something to avenge smeone or something, and a sure thing, the singer is going to put his own life on the line in order to protect her.
'Fear'...will this concept exist in the Incoming Dystopias ? Apperently, it doesn't in City Dystopias. It's may be weird, but since I'm sure they'll appear in 150-200 years or so, people mentality will be way different to us. People may not be afraid of Death anymore, maybe they'll get it's purpose (feed the young from ancient flesh they said), anyway, I don't think people will be afraid of death anymore, but some concept like honor and ideal will exist, this is part of our untoporal nature after all.
I wish these two survived.
Anyway, if you have found songs like this one, please share!
